New Husky Chix Junior Lites recruit Courtney Knight had her first spoils of placing 
on
the podium with her new team at the 2nd round of the Husqvarna Go Girl
series in a day/night meet on Saturday March 10, 2007 at Gold Coasts
Reedy Creek MX track.
With a well prepped track in sweltering conditions and over 200 contestants the racing was set to be hot. Husky Chix ace, Rebecca Bateman was showing her brilliance in her two motos but her determined efforts in the third moto saw her take a big spill and DNF the final race to finish the day in 7th.
Team mate Grimsey set off at blistering pace in her first moto, finishing a close 2nd but poor starts in her 2nd and 3rd motos meant that she had to battle for two 5th placings.
Junior Lites rider, Knight put in a consistent effort finishing in third place overall, finishing on the same number of points as second place getter Jessie Westaway.
The next event for Husky Chix Racing is round 1 of the Australian Women’s MX Championship being held at Newry Victoria on Sunday March 18, 2007.
