VOTW - Barry Sheene 170mph crash from 1975

Adopted as a honarary Aussie after moving here from England, Barry Sheene passed away sadly in 2003 from cancer. Years earlier though, this video shows his huge crash at Daytona in 1975 after a rear tyre issue caused a 170mph plus crash, breaking his leg among other injuries.

Barry went on to win 2 World 500cc Championships, 1976, and 1977, and suffered even worse leg injuries in another horror crash a few years later.
