Vale Ken Wootton

ken-wootton
Ken Wootton, ex-editor of AMCN  and motorcycle journalist supreme, sadly passed away on the weekend. Ken apparently passed in his sleep while on tour in Czechoslovakia.

From his years of leading AMCN, to his appearance at virtually every motorcycle event in Australia, Ken was either known - or felt like he was known - by all Aussie motorcycle enthusiasts.

The Australian motorcycle press will poorer without him.

RIP Ken.

Ken you were a true motorcycle enthusiast, for many years you told it as you saw it, I think you will leave a hole in Australian motorcycling larger than any one person could. Your voice booming out over the Phillip Island race track I will forever hear, RIP.

I'll remember Ken for all those best presented awards I used to win. I think he felt sorry for me because I was slow. He will be missed but remembered for alot of good. A fantastic person to have in Australian Road Racing and will be up having a beer with The Toe I reckon right now. Sadly missed R.I.P Ken.

You've left Alpinestar boots too big to fill and a hole in the track that can't be repaired. RIP Ken.
