Rossi and Uccio team up

Rossi and Uccio 3rd in Ferrari
Valentino Rossi and MotoGP sidekick Alessio Salucci, better known as "Uccio" have teamed up with fellow Italian car racer Andrea Ceccato, to finish 3rd in the Vallelunga 6 Hours endurance car race held in Italy this weekend past.
Sharing a Ferrari 430, the trio actually led their class until car problems near race end relegated them to 3rd. The GT3 class they competed in was won by Corvette pilot Emanuele Pirro.
Rossi is no stranger to four wheel competition, having driven in many rally events and previously tested Ferrari's F1 car.
Outright race winner Thomas Biagi (no relation to Max) followed Rossi for a lap before overtaking him.
"I wanted to see how he got on on four wheels and was surprised how good he was; he really is a class apart." said Biagi.
