Yamaha Mortgages itself
Leading mortgage broker joins YRT Quest for success in Supersport Category
14th February 2007
In a true
testament to the growth of motorcycle racing in this country, the Yamaha Racing
Supersport Team (YRT) will team up with OzQuest Mortgage Centre for the 2007
Supersport Championship.
The relationship between the dominant
motorcycle team and emerging financial broker is a first for the sport, which
continues to attract sponsorship interest from a range of companies which are
looking for new and innovative ways to communicate with their target
markets.
According to OzQuest Mortgage Centre Manager, Enzo Marturano
the parallels between the emerging financial broker and racing team are
extensive with both organisations committed to ensuring that their partners
finish with the best possible outcome.
“The similarities between OzQuest
and the Yamaha Racing Team are far reaching,” Marturano stated, “At Quest our
slogan is Your Quest is our Priority and the riders in the YRT team are also
committed to ensuring that they and their sponsors finish at the top of the
field.”
“I was at the Eastern Creek rounds of the Australian Superbike
Championship in 2006 and was extremely impressed with the performance and
professionalism of the Yamaha Racing Team and look forward to be being part of
this success in 2007.”
Yamaha Racing Team’s John Redding said that his
team is proud to continue to lead the way when it comes to sponsorship from
entities which are not traditionally associated with motorcycle
racing.
“Last year, the Yamaha Racing Team led the field on track and it
is great that on the eve of a new season we are able to announce a championship
first with backing from OzQuest, as a non-industry sponsor who operates in the
financial market,” Redding stated.
To mark the start of the relationship
between OzQuest and the Yamaha Racing Team motorcycle racing fans have the
chance to win a brand new Yamaha R6 which is similar to those ran by Supersport
competitors, Jamie Stauffer, Jason O’Halloran and Jeremy Crowe.
To enter
individuals need to simply log onto www.ozquest.com.au and register their
details at the appropriate link. In addition to this the OzQuest grid girls at
this weekend’s round of the Australian Superbike Championship at Eastern Creek
will also have entry forms for the competition.
The Yamaha Racing
Supersport Team will be out to continue the success achieved in 2006 this
weekend with the opening round of the 2007 Australian Supersport Championship to
be conducted at Eastern Creek.
