Yamaha Riders go back to School
Yamaha riders to rev up Adelaide’s Hendon Primary School with healthy lifestyle message
Many
people consider professional motorbike racing to consist of simply
hoping on a bike and twisting the throttle, however, behind the
scenes riders must be healthy, fit and rely on a number of vital
pieces of safety equipment.
Students
at Hendon Primary School will learn just how important these three factors are today when
CDR/NOKIA/YAMAHA rider, Cheyne Boyd and Team Owner Craig Dack will visit students at
Hendon
Public School
and provide them with tips on healthy eating, exercise and what
equipment to wear when riding a
motorcycle.
The
Yamaha Racing School
Visit Program was established last year to
help address the growing obesity trend occurring in
Australia and
uses the professional motorcycle racers as positive role models to
encourage students to make healthy lifestyle
choices.
The
Yamaha Racing School
Visit Program utilises an interactive
format with students encouraged to be involved in the presentation
and view Cheyne Boyd’s Yamaha YZ450F
racing machine that he will ride at this weekend’s first
round of the Australian Supercross Championship being held at Adelaide’s Wayville Showground on Saturday
night.
