More Naked Bandits in Australia

The 2011 Suzuki Bandit 1250 and ABS-equipped Bandit 1250A are now available in Australia

One of our favorite style of bikes here at Motoaus, the big naked Bandit is powered by a liquid cooled 1255cc, DOHC engine, offering gobs of torque  across a broad powerband coupled with a relaxed riding position. The Bandit 1250 now has a matte black engine, which runs a 6 speed trans. Fuel tank is a decent 19-litre size.

The Bandit 1250/A also has Suzuki's Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system delivering impressive throttle response and power delivery along with improved fuel economy.

Dual 310mm front disc brakes and a 240mm rear disc brake, along with Antilock Brake System (ABS) on the Bandit 1250A slow down the fun.

The Bandit 1250's instrument cluster features an analogue tachometer, complemented by a LCD digital speedometer, fuel gauge and clock.

Both models are now available in a Pearl Black colour scheme for a Recommended Price of $12,090* for the Bandit 1250 and $12,590* for the ABS-equipped Bandit 1250A, backed with a two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.

I have one of these and it's a lot of fun. Great for both touring and putting through the twisties. Good handling as well as oodles of power.

I just put a Givi topbox on and looking forward to doing some longer trips away.
