Aprilia sets Aus price and date for RSV4 R

The Australian importers of Aprilia have announced that the RSV4 R model will be available in March 2010 for delivery with a retail price of $23,990 plus on roads. This will heat up the battle for the exotic 1000s, with BMW having priced its inline 4 sports 1000 at a price just under this.

Aprilia will be unveiling the RSV4 R at the Motorcycle Expo at the World Superbike Championship at Philip
Island on February 26 - 28th 2010.

The RSV4 R features the same engine as the Factory model RSV4 being a 1000 cc 65° V4 cylinder engine, triple-map Ride-by-Wire electronic management system, cassette style gearbox, slipper clutch, anodised aluminium frame and swing arm and fully adjustable suspension.

Aus distibutors John Sample Group have also advised a shipment of bikes for test ride purposes will be available as early as February, contact your local dealer to organise a ride.
