Six Cylinder BMW Tourers in Australia

The all new BMW K 1600 GT and K 1600 GTL 6 cylinder tourers will arrive in Australia in late May.

The BMW K 1600 GT will be priced from $34,990* plus on road costs, and the K 1600 GTL will be priced from $36,990* plus on road costs.

Strong interest has been registered by BMW Motorrad dealers across Australia since the new K 1600 range was announced.

Australian standard specification for both models is high compared to other markets, with BMW saying this means Aussies will get good value on both of the K 1600 models.

It will be interesting to see if the S-bike takes over the main race-bike duties, K-bike sticks to Inline-4 and inline-6 large grand touring bike designs, and R-bikes stick to traditional roles, and perhaps retro, with the rumored lo-rider modular R-bike platform that might be coming out.
