UPDATE: It's been released, full pictures and details on the W800

Rumours abound that Kawasaki will soon announce a new retro model - the W800 - an upsized version of the popular W400 and its predecessor the W650, both parallel twins.

While the rumour could just be the result of some bored photoshopper that has run virally across the net, if the price was held to a sensible level such a model could be a solid rival to the Triumph Bonneville.

Motoaus whipped up a quick photoshop version of our own for your enjoyment.

That would be a nice thing if the price was right ?

Take Honda's CB1100F nice but $4k overpriced :( Really , do they want to sell them in volume or not ?

Do they want riders to buy them or just flogs that buy them to look at ?

Yep, agree, the W650 was well regarded, and the W400 is reasonably priced. Havent ridden a W400, but a Bonneville is a very pleasant ride, no reason this supposed W800 wouldnt be.
